About Us

I was getting bombarded with so much information — some of it true — about nutrition needs and the foods we eat. It was very confusing. Hearing experts say kale is good for you, but trying to remember what exactly it was good for, was challenging.

I strongly believe that clarity comes out of confusion when data becomes information.

So I decided to monitor my daily nutrition intake using a set of spreadsheets, filling them by scouring websites for data. With the advent of AI, I was able to get more reliable data — and this app was born.

I’ve been using Eatalyze to analyse what I’m eating. It has helped me a lot to know what I’m consuming too much of, and what I’m deficient in. Usually at 4 PM, I ask it what I should eat for the rest of my day to balance my nutrition intake — and voilà, it usually suggests a recipe or a food I already like to eat.

Some of my friends borrowed the app and installed it on their phones. They claim Eatalyze made a difference to their health without having to go on a diet. They encouraged me to put it on Google Play for the benefit of everyone. I’m making Eatalyze available for free for now.
